Egypt and Iran drew 1-1 in the early hours of this Saturday (27), in Seattle, in the third and final round of Group G of the 2026 World Cup. Saber scored for the Egyptian team, while Rezaeian found the net for the Iranians.
With the result, the Egyptian team reached five points and guaranteed a place in the second phase by finishing second in Group G, behind Belgium, who took first place due to having a better goal difference.
