The city of Lima, the capital of Peru, was announced as headquarters of the Libertadores final 2025. The revelation took place this Monday (28/04), made by Conmebol. The Liberty decision will be on November 29, a Saturday.
The tendency is for the final to be held at the Monumental de Lima Stadium of the Universitario, which has a capacity of 80,000 fans.
The first final of Libertadores in a single game in 2019 took place at the Monumental de Lima stadium. The decision was scheduled for Santiago, Chile, but had to change places due to protests on the streets of the Chilean capital against then -Chilean president Sebastián Piñera.
The final in Lima was between Flamengo and River Plate, from Argentina. Fla won 2-1.
There is also the option of the national stadium, which is more modern, but has a lower capacity: 50 thousand people.

The choice for Lima was decided on April 10, at an extraordinary meeting of Conmebol. The Peruvian capital won the dispute with Brasilia, which competed with the Mané Garrincha Stadium, and Montevideo, which had the centenary stadium in dispute.
