The Russian President, announced a truce from May 8-10, a period that marks the 80th anniversary of the Nazi Germany victory, but warned that Moscow will answer if Kiev violates the ceasefire. “From midnight between May 7 and 8 and until midnight between May 10 and 11, the Russian side announces a ceasefire,” Kremlin said in a statement. “If the Ukrainian side violates the ceasefire, the Russian armed forces will respond properly and effectively,” he added.
