Vienna/Hallein – In the Himalaya, an alpinist from Salzburg Tennengau was fatally accidental on Saturday. The 64-year-old crashed more than 1,000 meters on the descent from the 6,812 meter high Ama Dablam in Nepal, the ORF Salzburg reported on Monday, citing Nepalese forces. After the crash, there was a search in which the man was found quickly. A helicopter brought him to the Nepalese capital Kathmandu.
