The US Armed Forces said on Sunday that they will not reveal details about their military attacks in Yemen, citing the need to “preserve operational safety,” as well as stating that the attacks had “lethal effects” on the Houthi rebels.

President Donald Trump ordered the intensification of American attacks on Yemen last month, with his government stating that he will continue to attack the rebels supported by Iran until they stop attacking the Red Sea ships.

At an oil terminal in April, according to the Ministry of Health managed by the Houthis.

Human rights advocates raised concerns about civilian murders and three democratic senators, including Senator Chris Van Hollen, wrote to the Pentagon head Pete Hegseth on Thursday, demanding an accountability for civil lives.

Hegseth was also criticized for using the Signal Non -Confidential Message System to discuss Yemen attack plans.

“To preserve operational safety, we intentionally limit the dissemination of details of our operations in progress or future. We are very careful in our operational approach, but we will not reveal details about what we have done or do,” the US Central Command said in a statement.

The military said they had reached more than 800 targets since mid -March who, according to them, killed hundreds of, in addition to destroying the group’s facilities.

The military statement stated that the attacks “destroyed several command and control facilities, air defense systems, advanced weapons manufacturing facilities and advanced weapon storage places.”

Washington states that the attacks aim to isolate the military and economic capabilities of the Hrathis, minimizing civil damage.

The government said on Thursday that an explosion on April 20 near a UNESCO World Heritage Heritage in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, was caused by a Hurti missile and not an American air strike.

The Houthis said a dozen people were killed in the incident and rejected US denial.

Since November 2023, the Houthis have launched attacks on red sea vessels, claiming that they had the target ships linked to Israel.

They claim to be acting in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, where the Israeli war has already killed more than 51,000 people, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, and led to accusations of genocide and war crimes that Israel denies.
