Have the job and plant a nice spring seedlings of marigolds, poppy, various vegetables. You look forward to the crop, but where nothing, nothing. The slugs damaged everything. How to get rid of these slimy monsters?
As a rule, slugs hide somewhere in a wet place – in higher grass, on the edges of the beds and hedge. You can also find them below the edges of the protective textiles. In the evening and the night, they come out of their hiding places and are popular with everything that is set in the clay.

Calm and legs warm. There are several guaranteed ways to cope with slugs. It is a bit of a long -distance run, it requires perseverance, but who does not give up will get a rich crop.
Beer trap
If slugs love more than seedlings, it’s beer. Bitter, unfiltered, wheat – likes to suck any beer, and it can be easily used. Making beer traps is not complicated, even a complete amateur can do it, and it costs no big money, because you can serve even the cheapest beer from the can, which is a hot crown item.
You will need small glasses or yogurt cups that will be enough. Strap them to the brim around the seedlings that you want to protect from slugs. The aim is for the little slimy creatures to get to the beer before they pay back to the seedlings. Fill the buried cups with beer and let the traps work. The smell of beer is lured and found in those glasses or yoghurt cups, where they simply drown.
Beware of rain
The only small disadvantage is that in heavy rain the beer will be diluted, and it will no longer be so attractive for slugs, so it wants to monitor the situation regularly.
Oatmeal
Another wonderful delicacy that slugs love to enjoy is oatmeal. For some reason they can’t resist them. Again, the cheapest assortment is enough for them, so you do not have to worry about any exorbitant costs. Buy the cheapest and sprinkle them around the seedlings.
Handmade
It works well in cooperation with spilled oatmeal. Go to the garden with a flashlight at night and start collecting slugs who debug the flakes. Pouring slugs may not be pleasant at night, but what you wouldn’t do for your crop. Is that?
