Liliana Campos visitou o túmulo do Papa Francisco: “De tão simples que é, é lindo…”

Liliana Campos was in Rome last weekend to celebrate her 54th birthday, and took advantage of the occasion to ‘dismiss’ from Pope Francis, as the funeral ceremonies were taking place.

This Monday, April 28, the host shared with the viewers of the program ‘Red Passadeira’ who was by the tomb of the Holy Father, which was buried in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maior.

“I ended up saying goodbye to him”started by sharing. “I was at the foot of his tomb, we waited for almost two hours and such, we went there early to get a little bit there at the foot of the tomb.”revealed later.

Liliana Campos, who admitted to meaning “peace” by the tomb of the high pontiff, explained that it was not possible to be long in front of Pope Francis’ ballot, but did her prayer in it.

“My idea was to be able to pray, it doesn’t give this time because they are thousands of people. You come in, you can be a few seconds around and then you can go around and put you in a position facing the tomb (…).I have placed me to put me there in a position where you could pray in front of the ballot box and feel the peace that is that place he chose ”he explained.

In the end, the presenter was still ‘delighted’ with the simplicity and beauty of the tomb: “It’s beautiful, it’s very different from anything that we are used to… but so simple it is, it’s beautiful, it’s charming (…). The basilica is imposing but that corner where the Holy Father was really discreet… That’s what he ordered, the ballot box is beautifulshared.
