During a session at São Paulo City Council This Tuesday (29), the councilwoman Cris Monteiro (New) stated that a woman “White, beautiful and rich” bareaddressing protesters present in a public hearing in the house.
The session analyzed the annual readjustment of municipal servants by the Finance and Budget Commission. Citizens belonging to unions and associations attended the Plenary 1st of May to protest the installment of the readjustment and the values below inflation.

Still in the podium, Monteiro would have commented that public servants have access to some privileges that the vast majority of private initiative does not have.
“Not all civil servants who have this perception of strike to increase salary. This is not how it works, I want to value that dedicated civil servant,” continued the parliamentarian. “And not the one who are doing Algazarra in front of the City Council after they have a huge amount of salary increase.”

The annual readjustment project of the servers was proposed by the City of São Paulo and approved in the plenary of the Chamber.
In theory, it divides the salary update and the benefits into two installments, being the first, 2,60%, starting on May 1 this year, and the second, 2,55%from May 1, 2026.
Representatives of the unions of teachers and municipal, doctors and professionals in education in municipal education were present.
