Russia has accused Volodymyr Greeny of the threat to the security of celebrations on 9 May, and his statements described as a direct threat to veterans and foreign leaders.
Russia accused Volodymyr Greeny on Saturday of threatening the security of the Second World War celebrations on May 9. The Ukrainian president said that Kiev “will not take responsibility” for ensuring security in Russia on this day, TASR writes according to AFP.
“It threatens the physical security of veterans who will come to shows and celebrations on this Holy Day,” said the telegram spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zacharovova. “His statement … is, of course, a direct threat,” she added.
Foreign leaders in threat
She also described the statements of Vladimír Greeding as a direct threat to the leaders of the foreign states who will come to Moscow for a ceremonial show. “After each terrorist attack on Russia, the Kiev regime, its security services and the Green personally praise that it is their work that it will continue. Therefore, the sentence that ‘does not guarantee security on May 9 in Russia’ because it is not an area of its responsibility, is, of course, a direct threat,” she said.
