CP has already warned that there will be disturbances in the circulation between 7 and 14 May. Court decided not to set minimum services.

After last Monday’s strike (blackout day), there come days of more problems for those who train. This time, a longer stoppage.

CP – Comboios de Portugal had to predict Disturbances in the circulation between May 7 and 14.

Reason: many strikes. Called by the Ascefco, Assifeco, Fecrans, Fentcop, Sinaf, Sindefer, Sympb, Sintti, Siofa, SNAQ, SNQ, SNQ, STF and STMEFE, between 7 to 14 and 14 May.

CP provides disturbances in the circulation with special impact between May 7 and 13. That is, they start on Wednesday and extend until Tuesday next week.

If minimum services will be defined, this information will be updated, the CP disclosed.

However, last Friday, the arbitration court decided-unanimously- Do not fix any minimum services.

“The services necessary for the safety and maintenance of the equipment and the facilities, as well as the emergency services, which, in case of force majeure, claim the use of the means provided by CP; the relief trains will be assured; all compositions that have started their march shall be conducted to their destination and are properly parked under the safety conditions of their own composition and the eventual circulation.”

The longer strike starts at 00h on May 7th and only ends at 24h on May 14. That is, they will be 8 days in a row of stoppage.
