Schools will be able to close during the morning to perform the learning monitoring tests. Fashion tests are held this year for the first time and teachers criticize the time and the way they are done.
Evidence that replaces measurement called Fashion – Learning Monitoring – starts for the first time on May 19th. These are evidence that does not count for evaluation, but to monitor knowledge.
“Especially the morning shift may end schools, there may not be certain classes in certain school times, but this is a decision taking into account the characteristics of each school,” explains Filinto Lima, president of the Association of Public Schools and groups of public schools.
They are the only ones that take place during the 3rd period and will be performed in digital format, as well as the 9th grade tests that debut off paper. The public school mission considers that the constraints may be greater than the advantages.
“At least the fashion tests should occur, but in a sample of students. Therefore, each school selected a certain number of students and the test was applied only to this sample,” says Cristina Mota of the Public School Mission.
The directors warn of the dance between tests in the 2nd, 5th and 8th years on the left and 4th and 6th years to the right. This year students will take three Portuguese and Mathematics tests and one rotary every three years. They will be held between May 19 and June 6.
