Positive assessment of the president has retreated among the voters; Márcia Lopes says she wants integration with other ministries
The new minister of women, Márcia Lopes, said on Monday (5.mai.2025) that the president (PT) wants the most happy female population. The speech comes during a moment the petista presents by the female electorate.
“Lula said he wants to see the most happy, more protected women. That he wants to see women in each respected, welcomed municipality.”he told journalists in Brasilia.
The press speech comes after the Planalto confirmed the now former minister of women, she was with her successor during the interview with professionals.
“Cida will continue to be this militant of the causes and defenses of women, dignity, rights, democracy. And now we come to continue, to expand and to meet all these women throughout Brazil”said Marcia.
During the interview, the new head of women defended a greater dialogue among ministries to refer actions to the female public.

Who is Márcia Lopes
Affiliated to the Workers Party since 1982, Márcia Lopes is 67 years old. He was Minister of Social Development at the 2nd Government of Lula. Before, he was executive secretary of the organ. He is also a social worker and teacher.
Now Minister of Women, the petista is the sister of the National Secretary of Solidarity Economy of the Ministry of Labor, Gilberto Carvalho, former Minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency (2011 to 2015) and former Chief of Staff of Lula (2003-2010).
