The London police detained a man suspected of real estate associated with Prime Minister Starmer.
On Tuesday morning, the London police detained a 21-year-old man for suspicion of arson attacks on two properties associated with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. TASR informs about this according to the BBC report.
Police intervention followed the fire in the Prime Minister’s Private House in Kentish Town in the northwest of London on Monday early in the morning.
Firing attacks
On Sunday, firefighters intervened at a smaller fire at the entrance door of the apartment building in nearby Islington. This property is also associated with Starmer. The police also check the car’s fire as part of the investigation.
None of the cases was injured. The official headquarters of the reigning British Prime Minister is on Downing Street in London.
Investigation of counter -terrorists
“For preventive reasons and, given that the property was in the past, it was associated with a high -ranking public person, the investigation of this fire is led by members of the anti -terrorist headquarters of the metropolitan police,” the authorities said in a statement.
Starmer thanked the emergency services for their work on Monday. His spokesman said that, given the ongoing investigation, it is not possible to provide further details, including information on who was in the real estate in the time of fires.
