“A room of my own – yes !!!” Doris Dörrie about how we want to live

Finding a room for writing was Doris Dörrie always the most important thing when she “lived”: in the flat share in Munich as well as in the rat hole in New York, in the cramp of Japan as in the farmhouse with family. The question always arose what role a woman is assigned to live. Still and too often that of the crowd, she had to find out.
