A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday night (16), in Cruzeiro do Sul, resulted in the death of a military police officer from the state of Amazonas. The collision between a motorcycle and a car took place at the intersection of Avenida São Paulo and Rua Félix Gaspar, near the Vibe Academy.

The victim was identified as Paulo Denis do Nascimento Ferreira, military police crowded in the municipality of Guajará (AM). He drove the motorcycle at the time of impact and suffered serious injuries.

Teams from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) were called and held first aid still on site. Despite the resuscitation attempts, including cardiac massage, Paulo Denis could not resist his injuries and had his death confirmed.

The tragedy generated commotion between colleagues of uniforms and relatives of the victim, who was well known in the region.
