Finance Minister Fernando Haddad said on Monday that he has already sent a set of tax measures to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and will have a series of meetings on the subject throughout the week.
Haddad also pointed out that on Thursday will be released the Bimonthly Report on Evaluation of Primary Revenue and Expenses with all necessary information about the country’s fiscal scenario.
“On the 22nd, we will public all the tax staff this year and forecast next year. By Thursday, everything leaves,” he said in an interview with journalists outside the farm. “(Conversations with Lula) are referred. We will have several meetings this week to close.”

Last week, the minister had stated that he would send the president a series of punctual fiscal measures to ensure compliance with this year’s fiscal target. The government has pledged to reach a zero primary deficit target by 2025 and a 0.25% surplus of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2026.
