Designation prohibits NGO performance in Russian territory and establishes up to 6 years in prison for people linked to the entity
The Russian Attorney General’s Office classified this Monday (19.MAI.2025) the Amnesty International NGO as a “Undesirable organization”. The measure, according to the country’s legislation, prevents the group’s performance in Russian territory and may lead to the arrest of people associated with the entity.
