The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) asked the Federal Supreme Court (STF) to open an inquiry against licensed federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) for his act in the United States allegedly against Brazilian authorities.
The request will be reported by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, by connection with the criminal action that investigates former President Jair Bolsonaro for attempted coup.
According to PGR, Eduardo, who has been on US soil since March, has intensified actions against the Supreme Court, the PGR itself and the Federal Police to seek international sanctions against members of the Brazilian judiciary. For the organ, these movements coincide with the advancement of processes against Jair Bolsonaro and allies.

“Evidence leads to the omilation that the search for international sanctions to members of the judiciary aims to interfere with the regular progress of criminal procedures underway against Jair Bolsonaro,” the document delivered to the STF.
PGR points out that there is one by the US, based on statements by Senator Marco Rubio, one of the main advocates of the Bolsonarist agenda in the US Congress.
Eduardo even called these sanctions “financial death penalty,” as they could include an impediment to the US, blockade of goods and restrictions on business transactions with companies linked to the country.

In the same document, the agency requires the Federal Police to monitor the contents published by Eduardo on social networks and that former President Jair Bolsonaro gives testimony, arguing that he would be a direct beneficiary of the conduct described and also financially responsible for his son’s stay in the United States, as already declared.
The request also mentions the criminal representation made by Deputy Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ), who asks for. The basis of the accusation is that the deputy would be using his international influence to delegitimize Brazilian institutions for his own and family benefit.
In a video published last Sunday (25), Eduardo Bolsonaro compared his actions to the left figures, such as Dilma Rousseff, who turned to the UN after impeachment, and President Lula himself, who denounced his arrest to the international community.

“Now I, who denounce the true human rights violations and political persecution, these same people ask Moraes to confiscate my passport and attach me,” he said.
