Peng Yujiang, who has about five years of paragliding experience, has departed from an altitude of about 3,000 meters in the Qilian mountain range in northern China.
The goal was to test a new equipment without leaving the ground, that is, without making the flight itself, according to a report of the Provincial Association of Gas Aviation Departes, quoted by The Gaurdian.
