Russia has toppled 162 Ukrainian drones at night, mostly in the regions of Kursk and Belgorod, bordering Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday, the day that Kiev and Moscow delegates will meet in Istanbul for peace negotiations. The Kiev delegation has already arrived in the Turkish city for the new round of conversations with Russian envoy.
“Anti -aircraft systems intercepted and destroyed 162 Ukrainian drones” at night, a statement from the ministry said.
The delegations of Russia and Ukraine will meet for the second time in an attempt to end the conflict started with the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2023.
