At least 12 people had health problems after finding a suspicious package with an unknown substance in the distribution center of DHL near Nuremberg in the south of Germany. Seven of the persons concerned were taken to the hospital, the police spokeswoman said, saying that their number may be increased. According to the DPA report, TASR reports this.

The preliminary investigation shows that they found the suspicious package on Friday morning and leaked an unknown substance. They called police, firefighters and hazardous specialists to a place in Langenzenn. The building was evacuated and firefighters set up a decontamination shower to remove harmful substances from the bodies of the persons concerned.
Police spokeswoman stressed that there is no danger to the public.
