That’s what our grandmothers were saying. Just a few will please the stomach as good soup. Soups or broths are referred to as a guaranteed home drug in colds and illness at all. But do you know what soup will most benefit your digestion?

What can cucumber and what can tomato?

Tomatoes also have a positive effect on the intestines, although they contain quite different substances. It is primarily stabbed by lycopene, which is a strong antioxidant with anti -inflammatory effects. Tomato contributes significantly to the health of the intestinal microflora, which is important not only for optimal digestion but also the health of the whole organism. Digestion also benefits vitamin C, potassium and fiber contained in tomatoes.
How to prepare soup from tomatoes and cucumbers?
That’s all nice, but what is it like soup, if there are tomatoes and cucumbers? You may have thought that it must be a summer cold soup. You hit!
Aren’t cold soups of your domain? Never mind. The preparation is quite easy. Mainly you need a blender.
Peel and cut one whole cucumber. Add three ripe sliced tomatoes without peel. Likewise, throw a small onion into the pots. For taste and aroma there must be a few basil leaves, olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper.
Put all the cleaned and chopped vegetables in a pot or a deeper bowl, add a few leaves of fresh basil and mix smoothly with a stick blender. Season with a little olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice.
If the mixed vegetables are too thick, you can also add half a deci of water, but then it is advisable to let the blender again and leave all the mass to connect well. Usually, however, water is not needed, because cucumber and tomatoes are full of juices.
Season the soup and pepper to taste. You can also serve it right away.
If it stands for a long time, the juice from stronger crushed pieces can begin to form a thick layer on the surface. Therefore, it is suitable just before serving the soup briefly processed with a stick blender and served immediately.
Nothing for you? So cook another meal with tomatoes and bite the cucumber. This also has its advantages! For example, the mentioned lycopene in tomatoes is able to absorb much better if the tomatoes have undergone heat treatment.
