Itaú Unibanco informed the (Supreme Court) on Friday (6) that blocked the accounts of the licensed deputy (PL-SP), following the decision of the minister.
The bank document was available for consultation in the Supreme System for about ten minutes, despite bank secrecy. The data were taken from the air and placed in “internal view”, according to a certificate issued by the STF’s judicial protocol management.
The parliamentarian has two accounts in Itaú. The checking account has $ 2,118.28, and there was another $ 5 in savings.
The other banks were communicated by the Supreme Court on the order of blocking the licensed parliamentary accounts. There is no information available on the amount retained in other financial institutions.
Carla Zambelli had a fixed salary of $ 46,366.19 as federal deputy. She lost the right to remuneration after the chamber’s presidency accepted the parliamentary’s license application on Thursday (5).
She is on the run from Brazilian justice, with the name included in Interpol’s red list for leaving Brazil after being sentenced to ten years in prison accused of ideological falsehood and invasion of the CNJ (National Council of Justice) systems.
Zambelli left the country on the border with Argentina, took a flight to the United States and arrived in Italy on Thursday.
