The singer Rebeca was on the program ‘Casa Feliz’ this Wednesday, July 30, to the conversation with Diana Chaves. After singing the success ‘My name is Rebeca’, the Portuguese artist sat with the presenter and talked about the last times, as she underwent urgent surgery due to a health problem.
At the beginning of June, Rebeca shared a statement on social networks, showing that “it was necessary to make an urgent surgical intervention” but would soon return to the stage. Days later, the singer left a new message, realizing that she would be absent from the stage for a while, as she would face the consequences of “a clinical condition called adenomyosis.”
After a period to recover, the singer returned to work, however it is not yet 100%, as she revealed, in conversation with Diana Chaves: “It was a month and a half ago, go. I still have some problems, I’m recovering, I still have some pains. It was a brave fright because what we thought soon was ‘will be cancer again?’, No one knew”started by revealing.
Rebeca then recalled that she suffered a “abundant bleeding” that she forced her to emerge in the hospital, showing that from then on several exams and medical procedures followed until the diagnosis reached.
“I couldn’t stop bleeding. I had to go to the emergency hospital, had a treatment, I still did a concert because I asked the doctor to do. I did the concert sitting with brutal bleeding.he said then.
And he shared then that, despite the “fright”, he was more relieved to receive the result of the biopsies: “At first, they thought it was cancer. In fact, I asked the doctor and she said they didn’t know, we had to wait and I was very terrified. But the biopsies arrived, I was very happy, of course. It was one of the happiest days of my life, once again.he said.
Rebeca also explained that, due to this problem, had several bleeding and that the only solution was really urgent surgery: “The only thing I could do was surgery because I was limited. … As I had hormonal breast cancer, I couldn’t do some treatments, so the only thing to do was surgery, then there was nothing to do.he said, realizing that he currently feels “well”.
