Government found that about 60% of the statements filed last year had been delivered. IES declaration delivery time has also been extended until July 25.
The deadline for the delivery of the annual IRC statement (model 22) was prolonged Until June 30 and the Simplified Business Information Declaration (IES) until July 25, the Ministry of Finance said Monday.
This extension of the deadline was decided following the impact of the electricity registered at the end of April, namely taking into account the evaluation of the effects on the fulfillment of tax obligations by taxpayers.
“As announced, as early as April 29, following the general interruption of electricity supply that affected the entire Iberian Peninsula, the government has been assessing the respective effects for compliance with tax obligations, proceeding to adjustments to the justified fiscal calendar,” says a notes issued by the Ministry of Finance.
Although by June 4, more than 380,000 model 22 statements have been delivered, “the government found that, still, Only 60% of the statements had been delivered presented last year, ”says the statement.
Faced with this data, the government decided to extend the deadline for the delivery of this annual IRS statement until June 30. At first, after the embarrassment caused by the blackout, the deadline for the delivery of model 22 had been extended until June 16.
Also IES delivery can be done until July 25according to the same statement from the Ministry of Finance, thus giving companies another 10 days to fulfill this declarative obligation.
