A four-story building located in the Israeli Complex, north of the city, was demolished on Tuesday (10) by agents of the Municipal Secretariat of Public Order (Seop). The structure, according to the authorities, was used as a strategic point for organized crime, which used a false church on the ground floor to try to give the property of the property.
According to Seop, the bottom of the building functioned as a religious facade, while the upper floors served from Fortaleza to traffickers in the region.
During the action, which occurred in support of the Civil Police megaoperation to arrest members of the Third Pure Command faction (TCP), agents found dozens of triggered rifle capsules and several seven quarters – openings on the walls and concrete structures used to shoot police officers without exposing.
The building offered a privileged view of Marial Bulhões Street, facilitating the monitoring of police movement and serving as the basis for attacks.
The operation is still underway, aiming to dismantle the operational bases of trafficking in the region.
