The Brazilian government has condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran since the early hours of Friday, 13, (Thursday night, 12, in Brazil) and said that the offensive constitutes “clear violation of sovereignty” of Iran and “International Law”.
“The Brazilian government expresses a firm conviction and accompanies with strong concern the Israeli air offensive launched at the last dawn against Iran, in clear violation of the sovereignty of this country and to international law,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release this morning said.
Itamaraty also said that the attacks promoted by Israel “threaten to dive the entire region in a broad conflict, with high risk to peace, security and the world economy.”

“Brazil urges all parties involved in the exercise of the maximum containment and urges the immediate end of hostilities,” he added.
