The air attack made by Israel against the Uranium enrichment center of Fordo, in the center-west of Iran, has not left consideration damage nor is there a record of radioactive contamination, as the organization for atomic energy, the nuclear agency of the Islamic Republic, said on Saturday.
The organization’s spokesman, Behrouz Kamalvandi, explained to the semi -informed ISNA agency that Israeli bombing has caused “limited damage” in some areas of the enrichment center, one of the main objectives of Israeli attacks next to Natanz’s nuclear installation, which was also reached although the damage, again according to Kamalvandi, is not considerate.
“Natanz’s damaged part is mainly on the surface“The spokesman explained in response to an Israeli army statement that also announced damage to the Uranium Centrifuger Sub -Underground Room.
“In Natanz a small internal leak occurred but did not spread abroad, so there is no problem. The damage in Fordo has not been so serious, “said the spokesman.
“Thanks to the fact that we had planned it in advance and we had transferred an important part of the team and the materials abroad, there were no important damage and there is no concern for pollution,” added the spokesman, who also has no record of victims in the nuclear facilities achieved by Israel.
