Iran warns Israel that they will stop their attacks if bombings cease: "Our intention is of self -defense"

Iranian Foreign Minister Abás Araqchí said this Sunday that if Israel stops attacks against the Iranian territory, Tehran will stop bombing the Jewish state, after a new night of crossfire between the two countries.

“If the aggression stops (Israeli), we will also stop,” Araqchí explained in a meeting with foreign ambassadors in Tehran, Tehran Times reported.

“Our intention by attacking the occupied territories (Israel) is purely of self -defense,” he said. In the event that Israel does not stop their aggressions, “Iran’s attacks will continue,” the diplomat has warned.

Araqchí has considered that Israel “has crossed a new red line” with attacks on at least three Iranian nuclear facilities in recent days, including Natanz and Fordó enrichment plants, the main ones in the country.

The meeting of the head of the Iranian diplomacy with ambassadors occurs on the third night of shock between the two countries, since Israel began its offensive in the early hours of Thursday to Friday.

Israeli projectiles in two energy facilities

Last night, Israeli projectiles reached at least two energy facilities in Tehran in the early hours of Sunday, while Iran launched two smells of missiles and drones against the Jewish state.

Shahran’s fuel deposit in the west of the Iranian capital was reached in the attacks, which caused a fire with huge columns of black smoke, the Iranian oil ministry reported in a statement.

In the morning there was still a column of smoke on the area, which the authorities indicated that it will continue until the fuel is exhausted in the installation, according to Irna.

A refinery was also reached in the Shahr Rey area, in the south of the capital. The Tasnim agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guard, reported that the Ministry of Defense had been reached last night and suffered “minor damage” in the attack.

Neither the Iranian authorities nor the media provided information on the number of victims.

In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard said that it has attacked fuel production facilities and “Energy Centers” in Israel in the early hours of Sunday.

This was announced by Brigade General Ali Mohammad Naeini in a televised speech in which he explained that the attacks were carried out with suicide missiles and drones.

“The offensive operations of the Iran Armed Forces will continue more destructively and broadly if hostile acts and aggressions persist,” said the military.

Israeli media confirmed attacks in two points of the country, one in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, and another in Sefelá, west of Jerusalem that caused the death of eight people and injuries to 150.

Since Israel began its extensive offensive against Iran on Thursday night to Friday, more than 100 people have died in the Persian country, among which are members of the Iranian military dome and nuclear scientists who worked in the country’s uranium enrichment projects.
