Datafolha shows that most see flaws in both governments and 87% support CPI in Congress
The frauds in the (National Institute of Social Security) negatively impacted the image of both the President (PT) and the former president (PL), according to a Datafolha survey conducted on June 10 and 11, 2025.
Here are the percentages in the case of the Lula administration:
- Lots of responsibility: 50%;
- A little responsibility: 28%;
- No responsibility: 16%;
- They do not know: 7%.
Here are the percentages in the case of the Bolsonaro government:
- Lots of responsibility: 41%;
- A little responsibility: 29%;
- No responsibility: 22%;
- They do not know: 7%.
The survey also shows that 87% of Brazilians advocate the installation of a CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) to investigate the deviations.
The Lula government’s reaction to the INSS crisis is poorly evaluated:
- 38% say it is bad or terrible;
- 26% approve the shares.
Plateau promises, but 8 out of 10 people who believe in compensation think he will be slow. Nevertheless, 59% think retirees will be reimbursed.
The distrust extends to the INSS –51% of respondents gave a grade 1 or 2 to the institution.
Lula’s popularity is still under pressure: The president also lost support among part of the 2022 voters, who now admit failures in conducting the case.
The Datafolha survey was held in person with 2,004 people from 16 years or older in 136 municipalities on June 10 and 11. The margin of error is 2 pp (percentage points) to more or less.
