The new version of one of the most powerful fighters in the world appears: "He has gained weight and looks like a penguin"

France has one of the most admired jewels for the rest of the world: the French hunting Dassaault Rafale. One of the most powerful and impressive multifunction fighters in the world continues today. Although the new version has some modifications that make it a much more precious combat plane.

The Rafale 2.0 hunting version has some improvements that can make a difference. One of them are the additional fuel tanks that increase their range and payload, as reported by the specialized portal The War Zone. This implementation has caused hunting to look visually in a different way.

Thus, the tanks added to Rafale B biplaza are located in the upper part of the fuselage on both sides. The plane is expected to be presented in the Paris Aeronautical Hall during this week, so we will have to wait to know if the fuels we are talking about are mere decoration or will be totally functional.

However, not everyone seems happy with the new Rafale hunt, since by incorporating these novelties, the plane has acquired a form of ‘penguin’, very similar to the US F-35, which is referred to with this term.

As for its history, it should be noted that this plane corresponds to the fourth generation of fighters developed by Dassault Aviation and whose first flight took place in 1986. Since then, it was included in the French Navy and Air Force, in addition to other countries. Until now, they point out, around 300 of them have been manufactured.
