Company maintains excellence of hospitals through a program with 3 pillars: accreditation, indicators control and transparency
Hospital units are responsible for 5.3 million emergency care and 4.9 million outpatient care per year. The ability to offer nearly 28,000 assists per day is supported by one that is featured in Latin America. Quality prioritization is reflected in the main indicators of the hospitals of Rede D’Or, whose performance exceeds the national average. The results of Rede d’Or stand out in comparison both with the numbers of the (National Association of Private Hospitals) and the quantities of the, which evaluates ICUs in partnership with the (Brazilian Intensive Medicine Association).
The standardized lethality rate, for example, is 0.61% in the national average of hospitals and 0.39% for the units of the D’Or Network. The indicator reflects the greater or lower probability of mortality of a particular population.
For the ICU adult reinterination rate in a 24 -hour period, the national indicator is 0.73% and the D’Or Network of 0.28%. In the case of urinary tract infection, percentages are fixed at 0.72% (national average) and 0.44% (hospitals of Rede d’Or).
The most favorable numbers are also present in pneumonia rates associated with mechanical ventilation, with 2.48% nationally and 1% in Rede d’Or hospitals. The infection rate in the bloodstream is 1.26% in the national average and 0.6% in the D’Or Network.
The rates are some of the 53 assistance quality indicators monitored by the D’Or Network, with the objective of identifying points of improvement and maintaining excellence in service. In the evaluated rates, the lower the percentage, the better the performance.
According to the company, the indicators go through a thorough review of experts annually, ensuring the update with best clinical practices.
The integrity of the data is guaranteed by a double audit of the indices, a procedure that is a differential of the technical quality program of Rede D’Or. First, hospitals undergo an internal audit, through reports with care data that is intended for the company’s quality sector, which checks and records the information.

Accreditation and Transparency
In addition to the strict control of indicators, another pillar of the technical quality program of Rede D’Or is a. Directly related to the performance and reliability of the indicators, accreditation consists of a quality certification from an external evaluation process conducted by independent organizations.
Conquesting accreditation is a guarantee of quality, safety and humanization in care and patient care. Currently, 90% of the hospitals of Rede D’Or are believed, representing 71 of the group’s 79 units, spread in 13 states and the Federal District. The other 8 units are in process to receive accreditations.
The number of accredited units grew by 2025 compared to 2024. In September last year, from the hospitals of Rede D’Or were recognized for accreditation.
The certificates are issued by Brazilian organizations, such as the (National Accreditation Organization) and international organizations, such as the (Joint Commission International). Among the hospitals of the D’Or Network that have certifications, 55% are accredited by international institutions. In addition, in the group of hospitals believed by JCI in Brazil, 40% belong to the D’Or Network. The institution is one of the main ones in the world in the business.
The D’Or Network is still believed by the (Calidad Sanitia agency of Andalucía) and has the certifications and (National Integrated Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations), the latter granted by – International Healthcare Accreditation.

Recognized reputation
With a reputation recognized on several fronts, the D’Or Network also stands out in the UTIs Brazilian project, Epimed’s initiative in partnership with AMIB aimed at mapping, analyzing and improving ICU performance in Brazil. A total of 55 hospitals from Rede d’Or participates in the program, which analyzes 800 ICIs. Of the 55, 49 (the equivalent of 89%) were with the title of Top Performer and/or Efficient ICU, in the latest evaluation of 2024.
