The number of deaths arising from the Israeli attack on state news station Irinn on Monday (16) rose to two.
Nima Rajabpour, news editor, and Masoumeh Azimi, a member of the administrative team, were killed in the attack, Iranian state news agency Irna said.
When asked about the matter, the Israeli army referred to CNN To a previous statement, which stated that his Air Force had attacked a “communications center that was being used for military purposes by the Iranian Armed Forces.”
The attack
A strong explosion was heard while a journalist participated in a live broadcast.

Images released after the event on state TV showed the glass building that houses Irinn on fire, with the destroyed facade.
The glass building is in the heart of a large campus in district 3 of Tehran and houses several TV and radio channels.
Irinn is part of the broadcasting of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the national state broadcaster of Iran and a fundamental pillar of the Islamic Republic. His boss is appointed by Iran’s supreme leader, and those who work for the station undergo a strict screening.
Israel had previously issued an order of withdrawal before the planned attacks in the Tehran region, where Irinn is located.
Israel’s Minister of Defense seemed to predict such an attack before, warning that “The spokesman for Iranian advertising and incitement is on the way to disappear”.
Iran’s Chancellor
Iran’s Foreign Minister classified the Israeli attack on the Iranian broadcaster, who killed at least one employee, such as “the cumulation of cowardice,” according to Iranian state media channel Irna.
“The attack on our national broadcaster demonstrated the obvious despair of the Israelis,” ABBAS ARACHCHI said in an interview with the channel.
“When they fail on the battlefield, they resort to attacking a civil center that only transmits the truth and informs,” he added.
