Vienna-Extreme athlete Christian Bruckner made his Seven Summits-Austria Challenge faster than planned: The Lower Austrian from Wallsee managed the tour over around 1,000 kilometers and 20,000 meters in just 111 hours, and he had actually planned five days (120 hours). “It was not a walk, not a Sunday excursion, but a physical border load, especially with the high, not simple mountains. But instead of the twelve to 14 hours, according to the Alpine club assessment, I managed to do a lot of confidence that I was physically fit and can do it,” reports Bruckner to the standard.
