How do you wash strawberries to get rid of all dirt?

You can get rid of all dirt if you use a two -phase method of washing. What is it?

In the first phase, wash the fruit with acetic solution. For this purpose, mix 3 cups of water with 1 cup of vinegar in a bowl. Place the strawberries in this mixture for approximately 5 minutes. This food preparation is acidic and therefore removes bacteria and fungi in a moment. In the second step we prepare another solution. This time mix 1 liter of water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Put the fruit in this mixture for 5 minutes. Thanks to the soda we get rid of pesticides from the surface of strawberries.

Finish the strawberry washing with thoroughly rinsing the fruit under running water to get rid of vinegar and soda residues. Finally, dry them on a paper towel by default to prevent them from rapidly spoiling them. Also, be sure to separate the strawberry stalks only after it washed complete. Otherwise, water gets into the strawberries and strawberries break faster. In addition, they are washed out of valuable nutrients.
