João Paulo Vieira, son of the couple who died two days apart, made a statement on his profile on Instagram, this Friday (20/6), about the death of his parents. Despite being a moment of deep sadness, the son pointed out: “My parents were welcomed by God in a very poetic way.”

The father, Joedir Vieria, 69, died in a fatal traffic accident on Monday (16/6). The mother, Marineide Vieira, 60, died as a result of cancer. In the statement, John reflects: “Such a sad and so beautiful ending that it seems to have been projected from a book to a movie, it was no coincidence.”
Joeldir was returning from the hospital where he had spent the night taking care of his wife when his vehicle was hit by another. “It’s very painful not to have them here but know that they are up there, in peace and happy together, comforts me,” laments João.
