The FDI kill another Commander of the Revolutionary Guard during a new wave of attacks against Iran

The Israel Defense Forces (FDI) have announced in the early hours of this Saturday the death of another Commander of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, after launching a new barrage of attacks against Iranian territory in a context marked by the war escalation between both countries and mutual bombings of the last week.

“The Air Force has initiated a wave of attacks against the storage and missile launch infrastructure in the center of Iran,” said the Israeli army in a message posted on their account on the social network X a few minutes after reporting “the detection of missiles launched from Iran”, which have led to activate the alerts “in several areas of the country.”

Moments before, the Armed Forces of Israel had denounced through the same platform the identification of drones and missiles from Iran, which has led to urge the population not to abandon the protected areas “until new notice” and obey the instructions of the National Front Command.

“Currently, the Air Force works to intercept and attack where necessary to eliminate the threat. The defense is not airtight, so the instructions of the Air Defense Command must continue to obey themselves,” they have opted.

Later, they have not only claimed to have successfully demolished “some suspicious aerial objectives”, but have revealed to have ended the life of a high command of the Iranian revolutionary guard (IRGC).

“The Israel Defense Forces eliminated the commander of the second unit of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Air Force of the Revolutionary Guard,” they have also declared through X.

The deceased has been identified as Amin for Judkhi, a “commander of the second unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the IRGC Air Force” that “promoted hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicle launches” from the Ahvaz area, in southwest Iran, towards Israel.

Israel began on June 13 a wave of attacks against Iranian nuclear facilities and residential areas of the capital, Tehran. The authorities of the Central Asian country have raised the balance of victims since then in more than 224 deaths and thousands of injured. Meanwhile, in Israel at least 24 people have died in Iranian attacks in retaliation.

Israel’s bombings took place days before the new round of negotiations between Washington and Tehran on the Iranian nuclear program for a new agreement after the United States decision in 2018, whose celebration was scheduled on June 15 in the capital of Oman, mascate, although the Iranian authorities announced their cancellation because of Israeli attacks.
