The Iranian army chief commander said there will be a “strong response” to US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities in a music video published by several state-owned media outlets.
“Throughout our history, we face the United States many times. Whenever they tried to attack us, they have received a strong response,” said Major General Amir Hatami.
“We will fight; we will fight for happiness. We had many martyrs, but we will fight with strength and courage. You must be sure of our strength,” he added.
Hatami, one of Iran’s most graduated generals, was appointed to office for less than a week, while Iran reorganized its military leadership to fill vacant positions after.
