Milan – The Italian sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro died on Sunday evening in Milan the eve of his 99th birthday. This was announced by the foundation named after him. The sculptor, who is known for his iconic bronze balls, was born on June 23, 1926. “With the death of Arnaldo Pomodoro, the art world loses one of its most important, clearest and most visionary voices. The Maestro leaves an immeasurable heritage,” said the foundation.
