Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) supporters begin to occupy on Sunday morning (29/6) Paulista Avenue in downtown São Paulo, for another demonstration of popular support in the face of the Supreme Court (STF) trial on the coup plot he would have led. This is the 6th time Bolsonaro has summoned supporters to the streets since leaving the Presidency of the Republic.

This Sunday’s meeting slogan is “justice already” and criticism should focus on the progress of Bolsonaro’s trial in the Supreme.
The act is scheduled for 2 pm on Sunday, but the pockets are already crowded on the avenue with flags arranged side by side of Brazil, Israel and the United States (USA), as well as posters intended for US President Donald Trump. In one of them, supporters provide support to Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL), who currently resides in the US, while thanks Trump in English. Messages in favor of amnesty to crimes committed on January 8 also stand out.
Before they went to the last Bolsonarist demonstration in Sao Paulo, seven governors, affiliated with five different political parties, had shown support and met Bolsonaro at the Bandeirantes Palace in April. For the next act, only four governors, affiliated with three parties, are confirmed.
In addition to the host Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicans), the meeting at the São Paulo government headquarters, held before the pro-administration act in early April, brought together the governors of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zeta (Novo); from Santa Catarina, Jorginho Mello (SC); from Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado (Union); from Amazonas, Wilson Lima (Union); from Paraná, Ratinho Júnior (PSD); and Mato Grosso, Mauro Mendes (Union).
This Sunday, the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Claudio Castro (PL), who at the last minute canceled his participation in the April protest, will join Romeu Zema, Jorginho Mello and Tarcísio de Freitas. Of these, only Tarcisio is a confirmed speaker on Jair Bolsonaro’s stage.
The organizer of the act, Pastor Silas Malafaia, said that Zema will speak “if she wants”, leaving the former president’s proof of loyalty in the miner’s account.
