The Brazilian Gui Santos will continue to wear the shirt of the Golden State Warriors NBA season 2025/26. The franchise announced, on Sunday (29), that it exercised the third year option of the 23 -year -old wing contract, selected at the 2022 draft.
Last season, Gui played 56 matches, starting on two occasions, and had averages of 4.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, in 13.6 minutes on court. Since his debut in the league, he accumulates 79 matches with the Warriors, with averages of 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Chosen in the 55th position of, the former Minas player went through the base categories of the G-League, where he stood out with 14.3 points per game in the seasons in which he defended Santa Cruz Warriors. From the 2024/25 campaign, it became more often integrated the main cast of the São Francisco team.
