From this Tuesday (1st) the new minimum wage of the state of São Paulo, of R $ 1,804. The salary floor amount represents a 10% increase in relation to the previously paid R $ 1,640.
The amount of the São Paulo minimum wage is higher than the national minimum wage, defined by the federal government, of R $ 1,518 in 2025.
The minimum wage of São Paulo defines the amounts of the remuneration floor for professional categories that do not have salary floor fixed by federal legislation, convention or collective agreement, according to the Alesp (Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo).
The new amount of the minimum wage of São Paulo was amended in accordance with Law 18.153/2025, approved by Alesp and sanctioned by Governor Tarcisio de Freitas (Republicanos-SP).

In the state of Rio de Janeirothe regional minimum wage is divided into six tracks, defined according to professional activity.
Range 1 is R $ 1,238.11; Range 2 corresponds to R $ 1,283.73; track 3 rises to R $ 1,375.01; The track 4 reaches R $ 1,665.93; The track 5 is R $ 2,512.59; and track 6 reaches R $ 3,158.96, as established by the legislation of the State Legislative Assembly.
No Rio Grande do Sulthere is also differentiation by salary ranges. Track 1 has a value of R $ 1,789.04; Track 2 is R $ 1,830.23; the track 3, R $ 1,871.75; Track 4 reaches R $ 1,945.67; And track 5 is R $ 2,267.21, according to information from the state government portal.
In Paraná, the regional floor ranges from R $ 1,984.16 (track 1) to R $ 2,275.36 (track 4), according to data from the official website of the Paraná government.
In Santa Catarina, the values are also staggered by tracks, ranging from R $ 1,730.00 (range 1) to R $ 1,978.00 (track 4), according to the Federation of Industries of the State.
