The European Parliament (EP) will negotiate next week and subsequently vote on a proposal to declare the EU European Commission (EC) under the leadership of Ursula von der Leyen, Informed on Wednesday of political group leaders, chairwoman Roberta Metsolová. The proposal was submitted by MEP Gheorghe Piperea of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and according to available information received the necessary support of at least one tenth of all Members.
