On Wednesday (2), the measurement had already indicated 2.00 meters, highlighting a light but continuous reduction.
In the two consecutive days, no precipitation was recorded (0.0 mm of rain at 24 hours), which reinforces the typical drought scenario of this period of the year. The alert (13.50 m) and transhipment (14.00 m) quotas remain far from the current measurement.
The current situation of Rio is monitored daily by the Civil Defense, which follows a warning regarding the progression of drought, especially in more vulnerable areas of Rio Branco.
