By the text under analysis in the House of Representatives, these tribute -free materials and equipment may not be destined for resale. The federal government should prepare later regulation, in order to benefit:
- Federations, Confederations and Clubs, among other sports entities; and
- Professional or amateur athletes, proven exclusive use in sport.
“Today, the costs for imports are high”said the author of the proposal, deputy (Republicans-DF). For him, this affects entities and athletes, especially in sports of less visibility and financial support.
Next Steps
The project is processed in conclusive and will be analyzed by the sports committees; of finance and taxation; and constitution and justice and citizenship. To become law, it will have to be passed by the House and the Senate.
