Chelsea trains with an eye on semi against Fluminense at the Club World Cup

Chelsea held on Sunday (6) another training session in New Jersey, two days from the Club World Cup semifinal against Fluminense, scheduled for Tuesday (8), at Metlife Stadium, United States.

The blues secured a place among the top four of the Intercontinental Tournament, played for the first time with 32 teams.

Cole Palmer opened the scoring in the first half, scoring his first goal in the competition. Palmeiras reacted in the final stage with the young man, already negotiated with Chelsea himself, who tied the confrontation. The English victory came 38 minutes into the second half, in a goal against goalkeeper Weverton after misuse of crossing Malo Gusto.

With the result, the team led by Enzo Maresca has advanced with difficulty and will now face Fluminense, who qualified by beating Al-Hilal also 2-1, being the last non-European representative living in the title dispute.
