Summer in height, in the municipality of Castro Marim, will be marked by a diverse cultural agenda that extends from July to September, promoting living, music and local tradition.
The program begins on July 9 with the start of the Summer Mercadinho, which will take place in the leisure zone of Avenida 24 de Junho between 19:00 and 00:00. This space will bring together the best of local products, such as honey, salt and salt flower, dry fruits, traditional sweets, crafts and vegetables in the region.
At the same time, the central stage installed in the central zone will host dozens of musical shows and moments of animation for all ages, with artists and groups such as Dancy-Ri, Zequinha Clown, Hugo Madeira, DJ Nuno Silva, Generations, Cookie Monsters, Arutla, South Sounds, Nadia Catarro, Jaime Gomes, Group +2, Sérgio Conceição, Azinhal Folklore Ranch, Zé Aníbal and Duo Reflex.
Also noteworthy is the 10th Ethnographic Meeting of the Amendoeiras in Flor Cultural Association, scheduled for July 26, which will bring to the village traditions and cultural expressions of the region’s intangible heritage.
The initiative is promoted by, with the support of, and promises to attract both residents and visitors throughout the Estival Station.
