The Civil Defense warns of the formation of fogs in various regions of São Paulo, that should intensify until Friday (11)mainly impacting mountains and road stretches.
The phenomenon occurs due to the absence of cloud cover, which reduces temperature. Because of this, the humidity of the air rises and condenses, giving rise to the fog. However, over the hours and the gradual increase of the climate, the fog tends to disappear.
A list of the main affected regions was released, especially during the early hours of the morning. See below:

- Sorocaba
- Campinas
- Bauru
- Araraquara
- Vale do Ribeira
- Paraíba Valley
- Metropolitan Region of the Capital
- Baixada Santista
- North coast
- Serra da Mantiqueira
There is, which can compromise visibility and interfere with traffic conditions, representing potential danger in sections of local highways and roads.
“The Civil Defense recommends extra attention to drivers, with speed reduction, use of low headlights and maintenance of safe distance between vehicles, as well as caution redoubled in curves and slopes,” he says in a statement.
