Hurry at reserving a flight or distraction when filling out a form can be more expensive than the ticket itself. For those traveling with Ryanair, even the smallest errors in the passenger name can entail significant costs. Although the airline allows changes, there are strict deadlines, specific rules and little known rates that can catch off guard travelers.
According to Ryanair, all reservations are subject to passenger data verification, and any error in the name, whether in their own name or nickname, must be corrected in advance. The online change rate is 115 euros per passenger, so this error can be more expensive than the plane ticket. If the process is done through a Ryanair agent, the value increases to 160 euros.
