First slaughter of BMG Foods marks new cycle for the agricultural sector in Tarauacá

The city of Tarauacá is preparing to live a historic moment this Friday (18) with the first slaughter in the unit of the BMG Foods group, installed in the municipality. The operation marks the official beginning of the fridge activities and represents a significant step for the economic development of the Juruá Regional and the entire state of Acre.

The arrival of BMG Foods to the municipality is seen as a milestone for the agricultural sector, directly benefiting farmers, ranchers and the entire chain of service linked to the activity. The venture promises to boost job creation, income and new opportunities for the local population.

The president of the group, Jair Lima, next to the institutional director Márcio Scarlassara, the manager of the Andrei unit and the entire technical team, was congratulated by the collective effort that resulted in the project’s realization. The fridge, which until then was a distant dream for many, now materializes as a symbol of progress and confidence in the region’s productive potential.

“This is just the first step in a new story to Tarauacá and Acre. What was once just a planning, now becomes concrete action for our people,” said an authority involved in the project.

The operation of the BMG Foods unit is expected to promote the strengthening of the regional livestock sector, giving more security to the flow of production and expanding the presence of Acre in the national meat market.
